I was semi enjoying this until a random turn of events. And then after that event there was something else that completely made me pause. I don't think this book is for me so I'm calling it, but I see many others liked it so don't not try before of me. It just wasn't for me.

While on the hunt for a romance that wasn’t too hard to follow, I stumbled upon That Boy. Initially, the writing style annoyed me and I didn’t finish it. Months later, I picked it up again and couldn’t put it down.

Writing style aside, Jadyn and Phillip’s story completely melted my heart. I found myself rooting for multiple guys that Jadyn was with, Danny included, but always came back to think that she and Phillip were meant to be together.

That Boy is the perfect small town romance with a few twists thrown into the mix, and I’m excited to give That Wedding a chance!

I thought this was a great book. I'm a big fan of Danny he was just the perfect "boy" for me.

This book was an enjoyable, lighthearted read. Perfect for the holidays! I totally loved both boys and I am very pleased with the ending. While it was a bit OTT at times and the writing seemed...I don't know... immature?.

I did love the age development though! It was like I was growing up with them! Definitely recommend this as a holiday book.

I absolutely loved this one!!! I really enjoyed JJ and all of her sass and personality. And not just one, but two great guys to swoon over! Watching it all unfold and see who she would eventually choose was great. Loved all of the high school angst, the football fun and all of the laughs along the way! Can't wait to read Book 2~

The kind of vapid book that's addicting and you can't quite put down even when you desperately need to do chem. The kind of book where even though the narrator is in fourth grade at the beginning of the novel and 22 at the end, her voice never changes. The kind of book that's written like a fan fiction and has way too many exclamation points for my comfort. This book was exactly what I expected and nothing more, although I bet you a hundred bucks I end up reading the other two. 4.1 stars.

P.S. Wtf is with all these marriages in college/early twenties? Don't these people know that 50% of all marriages end in divorce? What the even heck.

This book was a little slow to start. I don’t love reading about teens, but you really need the back story. I was just thinking of quitting when bam her parents die unexpectedly and then I was hooked. I was crying along with them.
