So apparently I'm the only person that didn't like this book. Wow. Seriously I just felt like it was a waste of time to read because it was just so unrealistic and it also felt like absolutely nothing happened. They meet in Vegas one night and all of a sudden are in love but not so in love that the girl can remember it the next day? Just..erg..I can't handle the dumb things that were done and said in this book.

This was a wonderful story. I was really drawn to the characters from the beginning. Looking forward to the next installment in this series.

I've tried to read this like 5 times and I hate the heroine too much.

I am a sucker for a southern accent and the promise of a hot cowboy so right away I was hooked and I was not disappointed by Mack's charm and sweetness.

Andrea (Andie) created a life plan in her early teens so that she would never have to depend on anyone ever again. This plan included making junior partner, getting married and having 2.5 kinds. With one of her best friends getting married she allowed herself to veer from the plan path and go to Vegas for a bachelorette party. In Vegas she meets the hot panty dropping Mack. After a few to many drinks Andie looses sight of her life plan and marries Mack but the next morning doesn't remember that tidbit and thinks she just had an amazing one night stand and that Mack left her. Andie then goes home and continues with the life plan.
"You look a little nervous" Mack
"It's because you're to damn good looking."Andie

I really liked Andie she seemed like some one I could be friends with. Andie was career driven and a little blind to the obvious flaws in her life plan but despite that she was great. Her one liners were great and she had a serious sense of humour. I really liked how she got along with Mack's family so easily and how that made her rethink her life and her choices.
I'd probably fall right onto a snake, and with the way my luck was going, I'd land on him while he was sunning himself Fang-Side-up"

Mack was HOT, smart, strong, dominate but with that sexy sweet souther charm to back him up. He falls for Andie right away and doesn't think twice about how he wants this women to be his. When Andie shows up asking for a divorce Mack is less than pleased and sets out to prove to her she is his wife and is meant to be with him.
"What I have going through my mind is that I don't want this to end. There's something about you that's just lassoed my heart or my common sense or something and I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to get it back until you let it go."

I loved the book it was not only funny but steamy. The sexual tension with Mack and Andie is hot not to mention the final marriage consummation. Not only does it have the perfect Hero and Heroine it has a great cast of side characters. The book is light and perfect if you are looking for a witty read.

Me reading the first 95% of this book:

Yes! This book is amazing! I love it so much! Best book ever!

Me reading last chapter and epilogue:

I read this on iPad while sitting on my porch, but if I would have been reading this in print form I would have thrown this book into the middle of my back lawn and never picked it up. It would be laying there waiting for the sprinklers to come on at 5am tomorrow morning to turn it into fertilizer. That was one of the most unsatisfying endings ever.

This book was awesome. So much sexual tension, great characters, compelling conflict. And then it just ENDS. Everything is suddenly tied up in a happy little bow and the book is over. I feel betrayed. Gahhhhhhh!

This author was able to combine a lovable character with quick wit, humor, and tons of romance. The introduction of both characters was perfect. Andie and Mack are instantly attracted to each other (although that could have been due in part to the vast amounts of alcohol they both had) and decide that they want to have some fun.

And then we see Andie two years later, settled into life, settled so far into her life plan that she is about to achieve the "married" step. But oh my does "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" come back to bite her in the ass.

BAD THINGS HAPPEN IN VEGAS

But that doesn't mean something good can't come of it.

I recommend you all read this one, for the humor and the romance. Plus a bonus: sexy cowboys!

Mack and Andie have a very explosive relationship throughout this story. Andrea, aka Andie, has her entire life planned out for her until she turns 35 which includes making partner at her firm, getting married and having 2.5 kids. What she doesn't plan for is Gavin, aka Mack, catching her eye in Las Vegas, when she is celebrating one of her best friends bachelorette party. Having one too many drinks leads to her spilling a drink on Mack's lap, having to play blackjack for him while he is in the bathroom cleaning himself and oh right taking him up to her suite to have wild cowboy sex with him. Oh and did I forget to mention that they get married and she forgets! Fast forward two years later when Andie who has no friends anymore basically because her fiancé is a totally jerk face Andie receives a call saying that she cannot get married because technically she is already married! Andie goes to Oregon to sort this mess out but then she sees Mack again and everything she felt the first time she saw him came rushing back to her. Now it's up to her to "Shine not Burn".

The Hangover meets Sweet Home Alabama, but with a few graphic sex scenes. Turns out I’m not much of a fan of the graphic scenes, but there are only a few to get through and the rest of the book is kind of cute.

I can't say more about this book other than I absolutely loved every part of it. The romance, the humor, the HEA... True love always wins!!

Everyone else loved this but I wasn't really feeling it, it was really quite cliched and relied heavily on unlikely events happening at the crucial moment. I liked Mack, he was nice and sweet but Andie was annoying, she was so determined to go after 'the lifeplan' that she wasn't even thinking about what she wanted or what might make her happy. She had the potential to be brilliant, we saw moments of her being kickass but mostly she just seemed to hide away that side of her personality and concentrate on trying to be dull, I actually preferred both her friends to her.

I also wasn't a huge fan of the sex scenes- I just prefer my characters to be saying yes not no (even if they both know they don't really mean no it still makes me uncomfortable because what if it did, someone got the wrong end of the stick and is absolutely convinced that no doesn't mean no while the other person is saying no and meaning no and has no idea what else to do).
