LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! One of the best cowboys ever!!!

Thank you GoodReads for recommending this to me! I can't believe I haven't heard of Elle Casey before. Not only was this story completely adorable, it was really well written! So I have a new mission - I will find and purchase all of her books and then voraciously consume them. On to the review!
Holy crap - how adorable were these two? I just loved how they got along the first time they met - and then how they fought the second time they met. One thing I'm a little disappointed about though, and I swear this is the only thing, is that Andie is a driven career woman. And suddenly she meets the right man and gives it up??? That doesn't seem like the Andie from the first part of the book. I get it, true love and all, but I wish it had been addressed a little bit more about why she was making the decision and such. Mack was driven as well - and got exactly what he wanted in the end. ((which I am really happy about - if he hadn't this would be a much different review)).
The story was relatively simple, but it was so well written that I basically couldn't put it down. Just when I thought I'd be done for the day something would happen that would have me reading another chapter. You know how it is.
Elle Casey, you nailed it so well that you've made me a life long reader.

“Don’t be so hard on yourself. First off, you were young and you were doing what you needed to do to make the most of things. And second, you’re still young. You aren’t stuck doing what you don’t want to do. If your life isn’t working for you, change it.”
Oh this book is interesting enough. But Mack attitude after they meet again made me mad at him and Andie behavior was annoying in some part. About Andie past i think didn't important.
Btw i love Mack vow. :"D
3.5 stars.
Cute and comical. I liked the beginning and ending the most because the middle was kind of nerve wracking waiting for her to figure out what everyone else already knew. Total denial. Lovvvvvvvvveeedd Mack though. That man can shine all he wants but he's hot enough to burn through your hymen with just a word. The boy is all sweet, sultry, and sexy. Dripping with it down his rigid and rippled stomach to his...king dong. He he So beware all virgins!

kind of a ridiculous premise. they share some banter ate the card table, have sex and he's decided he's in love and wants to marry the drunk woman he's just met. He's supposedly only kind of drunk. Sometimes the writing was good, witty and sweet; sometimes not so good-- how many times did her eyes "bug out"? the characters had the beginnings of something but not a lot to back them up. maybe if i had kept reading...? but i didn't feel like wasting more time.
Enjoyable, but from the start you can kind of predict how things are going to play out.
I've no idea how to rate this one!! When I started I was thinking is this gonna be a 5 star or a 4 star read?! But then after Vegas everything changed. I didn't really like or respect Andie after that. It skips ahead and she's engaged to a guy she hated, and described as a snake, at the beginning of the book. I get that she has her whole lifeplan and he fits the boxes but I prefer stronger and more independent female leads.
Another thing I can't stand is cheating. I don't care if her fiance is an a**hole or if Mack is technically her husband, but cheating is cheating no matter how you try to ease your guilty conscience. I just couldn't enjoy their relationship knowing that she was engaged and had every intention of returning to the city. Hell I don't even know how they resolved their living situation there was no mention of it, I assume she moved to the ranch! Then there was the whole Hannah thing that I just felt was left unresolved.
But while all these little things annoyed me it wasn't a bad book. It was well written, with well developed characters and the ending was really nice. Plus I do love me some cowboys! ;)
So I think I'm gonna wait a while and think about it before I rate it.
