Marley Valentine does it again with Ache! This book will pull you in with the beauty of the characters and their friendship and then make you swoon, only to rip your heart out… but don’t worry, you’ll get stitched back together. This was a roller coaster of all the emotions!

Jordan and Gael have been best friends since childhood. And for so much of that time, Jordan has been secretly and hopelessly in love with Gael. He has always handled his unrequited love for the man because they had an unbreakable bond in their friendship. Nothing comes between them… until Gael announces his engagement… Jordan knows that this woman will never be comfortable sharing Gael with his best friend once they are married and it breaks his heart.

As a way to spend some final fun with Gael, he plans an elaborate Vegas bachelor party trip… and everything changes. The two share an absolutely non-platonic evening which implodes everything. Giddy with the knowledge that what he has always wanted may actually be possible with Gael, Jordan never expects for it all to come crashing down around them…

This was a beautiful and completely heartbreaking romance that I completely LOVED! Jordan and Gael were such fantastic men who loved so hard and had the biggest hearts. I loved the entire family aspect in this book. I love that while Jordan isn’t blood, he is undoubtedly a member of the family. And finally, I loved all the breathtaking emotion in this book. This book will make you FEEL!

This is a great story with so many emotions. I devoured this book. Highly recommended

Life is too short for me, to have to force myself to read a book, that uses retrograde amnesia as a plot device.

Gael and Jordan have been best friends for ever. So close that they are family - in fact when Jordan came out at 17 and his parents kicked him out of the house, Gael's family opened their hearts and home to him. But they have both been harboring feelings for each other that go beyond friendship. But Gael is engaged and as gift to his best friend, Jordan plans a bachelor party in Las Vegas with Gael's friends and BILs. Something about being in Vegas forces them to confront their feelings and maybe the old adage that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas won't be the case for them . . . or maybe not.

Deep breath . . . exhale. Sigh. I knew that with this title and this cover that I was in for it. That I was going to be a mess and I was not wrong. Gael and Jordon roped me in and made me fall in love with their love. It consumed me. Their love had my heart soaring. And that is what got me through the ache . . . through all of it their love was undeniable and always prevalent. Gael and Jordan have known each other for ever and they don't have the easiest road but the way this book was written it was such a beautifully imperfect for them road. I smiled, I laughed, I cried . . . I felt it all but mostly I felt their love for each other. It was seeping from the pages. I adored every thing about Gael and Jordan's story and then I got to see Deacon and Julian again . . . that made my heart so happy. Deep breath . . . exhale. Sigh. Read this book. It was amazing.

I liked the writing of this book. It felt like the author cared about the readers and the characters and the story. At first it was all tension and smut, and I thought, “this is good but there’s not really a plot is there? It’s kinda just a good smutty book..” and then…
