Had I read this is middle school, I would've loved it, scandalized by the main characters actions but now it just made me roll my eyes because I saw so many relationships ruined by girls like Katie. And just as a side not, quahogs sound absolutely disgusting and makes me glad I've never heard, seen, or tasted one before or will I ever.

following up vonnegut with cabot was the best decision i made on this trip

Another more recent Meg Cabot book that I had to read before my daughter needed to take it back to the high school library. It was a cute story, but her formula for these stories is getting old. I still like her casual laid back style, but I need something new and different from her. This particular story is about a girl who finds she is not being true to herself (calls herself Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire) and learns how to 'fess up by the end.

I really like this book and liked how Katie was a completely flawed character. Tommy was an interesting male lead and the book was just a fun fast read.

I really had hope for the books plot, and ended up a little disappointed. But it's still a cute, fun read.

This is an old favorite of mine. Meg Cabot is always able to keep me hooked and happy in her books, and this one is no different. It’s a super fast and fun romance that I highly recommend!

This probably got a better score than it deserves because I was so desperate for fluff and this hit the spot for fluff. It’s not even GREAT fluff. It was okay. The main character was actually a little annoying (she cheats on her boyfriend! Repeatedly! And she’s the heroine! And that’s just one in a long line of selfish behavior!). Anyway, bottom line, I needed fluff, this provided fluff. Meg Cabot is candy: no nutritional value, quickly consumed and just as quickly forgotten.

This would be a fun for-tv-movie!

the truth doesn't hurt that much at all!

Super cute book! I almost wish she would have written at least one more chaper. I LOVE Teen Lit!
