Sienna Mayfield was a daughter who was uncared by her own father bcoz of the guilt he feels bcoz he saw her dead wife on her who died while giving birth to her, hence their father daughter relationship was not that good. She though felt abandoned and uncared but when his father suddenly brings the idea to spend their summer together in Spain, she feels like giving a chance to her father.
She was also the author of some forbidden and taboo books which she had written by thinking his uncle Nikolai Hale who was very charismatic and ruthless at the same time. He was very business oriented and often commented on her kindness. She was supporting the animal center by volunteering and some donations.
During their summer break she chose to be with her dad instead of her friends n she developed the feelings for Nikolai too who called her sunshine. He although not very lenient to others but he do put effort but it was not sincere enough hence bcoz of that one lie of her father they do fall apart.
Her father was very ill n on the verge of death hence she kinda felt heartbroken n took good care of him although she too was needed of help hence in that time I felt bad for her cause she n Nikolai was apart bcoz of lies n her father disapproval.
Overally it was little emotional and more power to Sienna for being brave.
Enjoyed this story, It was not that spicy book for me.

Das Buch war ganz ok.
Die Chemie zwischen den Protas war da, aber irgendwie hat mir immer etwas gefehlt. Es kam alles recht gestelzt rüber und nicht natürlich. Idk.
Das Ende war tatsächlich etwas traurig und ein absoluter Minuspunkt war, dass man einfach komplett der Reunion beraubt wurde? Auf einmal kam der Epilog. Man hat das Gefühl, die Hälfte des Buchs fehlt.
