A must have for any Potter fan, containing interviews with cast and crew this book has everything you would ever want to know about the Potter films. I thoroughly enjoyed the input by production designer Stuart Craig, who reveals the detail that goes in to each set. The best bit by far has to be the prop replicas that are included, from a quidditch world cup programme to your very own Marauders map! Lots of squee-worthy stuff, a wonderful, beautifully set out book start to finish.

This is the COOLEST BOOK EVERRRRR. I'm not going to lie that when I looked through it, I was squeeling like a little girl. It brings the books and movies to life right in your hands and the pullouts are INCREDIBLE. If you are a Harry Potter fan, you have to own this book. It should be a new rule.

Have you ever wondered how muggles make wizardry in the Harry Potter films?
Well, this book has an great insight on the special effects of the Harry Potter movies, explanations on how each movie was filmed and how the ideas came to the muggles who created the film series. It was was very informative and had lots of pictures of ‘before-and-after’ with captions. There were some pages that were just about one actor/actress and how they felt playing the role and some pages had bits that were about an actor/actress looking back at a funny/embarrassing/ memorable moment.
Overall, an interesting book with good explanations and pictures of the Harry Potter set.

The graphics and look of this book are worth the price of it. It's a gorgeous book & if you're a HP fan you owe it to yourself to at least check it out. :)

Lovely book with a lot of behind the scenes info and titbits sprinkled throughout. It's almost as interesting as visiting the HP Studios, although the part about the last film was very short.

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of the Harry Potter books and movies. So when I saw this book, I knew I had to check it out! I really enjoyed reading interviews with cast members, producers, and directors. It really made me appreciate the film adaptations even more now that I know the reasons why some parts of the books were cut out of the movie versions. It was interesting to learn how much input J.K. Rowling had for the film adaptations. The producers really respected her opinions. Large color photographs from the movie sets and samples of concept art provide fascinating peeks behind the scenes. Several extras items are included along with the book as well - copies of the Marauder's map, brochures, tickets, Harry's Hogwarts letter, and other fun items from the films that fans will love.

Harry Potter Film Wizardry is truly a must-read for fans of the books and movies.

I really love seeing how films and TV shows get made, I love behind the scenes stuff so I absolutely loved this book. Harry Potter will probably be one of my favourite series (both books and films) for the rest of my life, it's just captured such a large part of my heart and the characters are so dear to me. This book was great and I loved learning how they did special effects, and seeing the sets up close, I just found it all so interesting.

Couldn't give this any less than 5 stars. It's interesting but not too long, with awesome images, funny anecdotes and amazing removable extras. Can only recommend it!
