A little on the long side. The issues were resolved a little too quickly got me honestly.
I did like that once they decided to be together all of the pressures and conflicts came from outside the relationship.
The spice is spicy!

It did what it was supposed to do. If you’re easily triggered; don’t read however, if crazy doesn’t bother you go for it. It’s a book of smut and pushing limits. A

Can someone explain to me why she isn't annoyed with the fact that he has never been in jail for causing her accident?
Because that was what I had my focus on all along.
However, I felt like it was the baby of 'Haunting Adeline' and 'From lukov with love'. And it was dark. Greyson is really disturbed but the final scene was too cute for him.

The trigger at the beginning is well said. I think the first half is definitely an ick feeling and kind of out of left field. Like it doesn’t explain MMC intensity at all it’s just there. But it was intense and I finished it in a day so still good
DNF 6%: Weak MFC, One-dimensional MMC, Insta-love
I just had to stop. The MMC legit blames the MFC for damaging his 'relationship' with his father and bursting his 'untouchable bubble.' The kicker here is that it was due to a car accident, and he even admits to seeing her all damaged and 'bloody.'
If this isn't the ultimate form of gaslighting and victim-blaming, then I don't know what is.
To make it worse, it has these 'instant-love' vibes two chapters in, with him enjoying her fear when he traps her inside the women's bathroom and threatens her FOR NO GOOD REASON. And she just TAKES IT. There is no relationship buildup... the MMC is just instantly 'obsessed' with her because she doesn't fall in love with him within the first two seconds.
What in the freakin' TWILIGHT IS THIS?
Again, I only got to 6% = 2 chapters before I started to feel my brain turn to mush. Maybe it gets better, but it's a big NO for me.

***AUDIOBOOK***
3.5 STARS
There are things I really loved about this book - OTT hero, the bully trope, great steam, and I overall enjoyed the couple and the story.
Some things I didn’t - the texting between the hockey player sitting on the bench and the heroine in the seemed very implausible. There was also a scene at the beginning I did not love and questionable choices.
This is definitely a reader preference thing vs. book.
