Maybe it’s just not my genre but I continued reading because I have FOMO but this was literally disgusting and the MMC gave me the ick!

this book had absolutely no fucking reason to be 600 pages long other than to yap, yap, yap some more, and then MORE pointless yapping.
i felt like the author was just trying to add to the plot which was really worse than shit tbh but it just got WAY over board for no reason at all.
i hated both mcs. all violet did was cry and i say “i shuddered/ a shudder went through me” or “shame fills me/ shame bleeds through me” im so pissed just thinking about it.
while all that greyson can do is fuck and choke violet nearly to death (apparently it’s very very very sexually appealing to both of them. even after violet faints, a couple of times might i add) but (unfortunately) he lets her go right before she dies apparently then waits for her to wake up and either continue fucking her or choking her, depending on his mood.
the only good thing about this book was willow. loved her. stand by her. didn’t do anything wrong or dramatic.

I don't know what to say. The beginning of the book was hard for me and I am someone who loves dark romance. Grey made me unbelievably angry, to the point I almost put the book down. I am glad I didn't because I love Violet. Her getting back to dancing and the struggles she had were written in such great detail. I'm still not sure about Grey though.
There’s something about a hockey x ballerina trope that puts me in a chokehold!! This book was haunting Adeline vs the deal vibes & I LOVED every second of it!!

When I started this book and when I learned the premise is about an entitled rich guy planning his revenge on a poor girl to whose leg and career he destroyed, but he got some bad press and he wanted her to be shattered mentally and emotionally, along with her being crippled, and an outcast, I was like "WTF am I reading"...

Highly recommend it to dark romance folks, bullying is super strong but story builds as you go and adds lots of twists and turns, so much you won't remember when you switched from anti-Grayson to his biggest fan

oh wow, a DARK romance hockey romance? count me in! i do not have TW but if you do, be aware and read them before you dive into this book. I think it was pretty good, the only thing i wish was different is the detailing. add a bit more details then *chef kiss*
