Greyson just made me feel icky inside. I don’t know what it was, I’ve read characters who have done much worse, he was just a big no. Violet just pissed me off.
That’s really all I can say. Would not recommend.
I don’t really know anything about ballet but her getting the lead in some big production after she had to take 7 months off because of her injury and was told that she was done dancing, doesn’t make much sense to me.

Graphic: Bullying, Sexual content, Violence, Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Sexual assault, Car accident
Pretty good for a dark bully hockey romance! The twists were twisty. I did get to a point of okay can we wrap this up now? But overall, really liked the story.
Dark, bully, stalker, & hockey romance. Some of my favorite things all rolled into one!
If you like lots of the darker tropes, this book has them for you! Greyson & Violet both have some serious dark sides (his more than hers), & it’s a wild roller coaster!
They are both angry at the other, & it’s goes from Greyson being a major bully to becoming obsessed & possessive of Violet, usually involving some dark spicy spice.
Lots of backstory & little side issues leading up to some twists & revelations towards the end.
Definitely enjoyed it & will be diving into the rest of the series now!
PS: audio was pretty great too, Teddy Hamilton doesn’t miss

This book was like a train wreck that I couldn’t look away from. It’s not good and the main male character is just mentally abusing and then all of a sudden flips? Idk I have read lots of dark romance but this one is just not for me.
*taps mic* welcome to episode 457 of WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER TRUST BOOKTOK RECS AGAIN
It was problematic and fucked up on so many levels I don’t even know where to start, so I won’t. I somehow finished this and I think I deserve a medal for it
Violet must be some sort of superhuman considering she had three stalkers (although only one of them made any sense - hi asshole Jack). Or maybe they just wanted to kill her because she was the most annoying person in the world? I can’t decide
I want to say something good about this book but I can’t. It was 600 bloody pages of… I don’t even know what. Terrible plot. Mediocre-at-best smut.
And, well, dark romance just doesn’t WORK in a college setting. I mean, I know men are fucked up regardless of their age but you want to tell me that a 20 year old collage buddy would act like this? Please. This is ridiculous. Greyson is a Christian Grey wannabe but with a blood kink and less consent (I mean, Christian at least made her sign a contract yk)

I’m embarrassed to admit this but I almost gave this one 5 stars. BUT I know this book is so over the top ridiculous so I’ll stick with a 4. I just couldn’t put it down.
But hear me out…I’m a sucker for a bad boy turned soft. The trope does it for me EVERY time.
