This book was TOO long.Furious was not my favorite character, although I felt sorry for him having to deal with Patrick and Brendan.

Furious continually mentioning how he could "take care of himself" was ridiculous considering Syn had to save him more than once. Furi was entirely too prickly. Everything Syn said set him off.

Syn was just starting to figure out who he was and what he wanted, but Furi seemed to want Syn to know immediately with no questions. Chill bro'.

There were a few plots going on. The violent, abusive ex and his brother, the killer women, the tainted ecstasy dealer etc. I admit that I skimmed through some of this. It was too much. There seemed to be an issue with women. It made no sense to me why they suddenly hated Furi. Syn didn't have much of a backstory. Tbh, from that first chapter when Syn was introduced to the last felt like years had gone by.

The high points for me were I liked Day and got to listen to Aiden Snow narrate.

Hot cops and a Porn-star auto-mechanic. Yum. This was my first time reading M/M. There was so much to enjoy about the book. The story was so well developed. I felt like I knew the characters personally. I could visualize everything, from the scenery to the bedroom scenes. I also loved that at the end there was resolution to the different aspects of the plot. Even though the characters were introduced in another book, it was a complete stand-alone read. I never felt like I was out of the loop for not having read the previous tale. The characters were hot, alpha-male cops, the type to fuel many wet-dreams. Corbin Sydney (Syn) has spent his life as a detective, so focused on his career that he never considered finding someone with whom to settle down. He transfers to Atlanta to join an elite task force where he encounters Furious, a part-time bartender, part-time porn star, and a future auto shop owner. Their chemistry is instant. The stories that unravel are completely captivating. I was able to plow through quite willingly, wanting to see what would happen next. A definite recommendation to anyone who reads M/M romance.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved Syn and Furi together. They were hot hot hot! Their love for each other was so explosive, sexy and sweet. I loved seeing the gang from "Nothing Special" you can technically read these as a standalones but to be honest to really know the whole gang I would read "Nothing Special" first ;-) Just a great book all around!

2.5 Lots of sex, fairly likable characters, the plot needed a little work though. I liked seeing the guys from book one again. Lots of TSTL moments.

So good, thrilling and sexy!!!

I loved Syn. Heโ€™s powerful, passionate and so good and protective. Heโ€™s a great character! His connection with Furious sparks from the start and I loved the bi awakening and exploration! Furi and Synโ€™s dynamics are a surprise and so sexy, oh my!!!

The story is thrilling, a little twisted and wonderfully passionate. I loved the crime and drama. Syn is so protective of Furi and Furiโ€™s ex is a piece of work.

God and Day are fantastic, I need to read their story now! Day and Synโ€™s banter and antagonism of each other is hilarious. Iโ€™m intrigued by the whole team and canโ€™t wait for more of their awesome, dynamic and sexy stories!

Fantastic narration and I loved the different voices for each character. Aiden is fantastic! Highly recommended story and a really awesome listen!!!
