An intriguing tale

Sincerely this book, loved the world building, the characters, the mental art, the twists and turns that keep you on your toes. I have my ships and man am I excited for book 2 already! Thank you for such a great story and FMC and MMC !

I enjoyed this book, but I felt like I was missing so much of the story. It felt rushed

Sigh.

You can tell this was the authors first book. As it needed so many edits it was ridiculous. If the FMC rolled her eyes one more time. I was going to toss this book out the window! What is so frustrating is that this is a great idea but the characters, and the dialogue were just highly flawed. If this book got an editor, it would be such an epic story.

4.5 ✨

RTC

I have no idea what went on in this book, but it was hot so that automatically gives it 3/5. He also has shadow powers and dark hair so that adds another star.

4/5 stars.

Solid 4 stars ⭐️

Started off a bit slow for the first few chapters, then it picked up as more characters were introduced but then around the 80% mark it got a bit confusing and the plot kept changing.

I’m definitely left with more questions, but I’ve heard from friends that they’ll be answered as you keep reading the series.

The world building is interesting, and I enjoyed the characters.

It’s a good book. I enjoyed it. Not subtle and the revelations were obvious but it didn’t detract from the story. I like the main characters, but sometimes I forget how “young” the fmc is. The main characters behaviour was naive at the end. Thinking the enemy wouldn’t track them down as they just merrily went on with their lives. This was the only major issue I had with the book.
