adventurous medium-paced

I enjoyed it. I knew the ending cliffhanger was coming & I still was shocked when I got to the final page & there were no pages left 😭 some of the lines were cringy & had me laughing saying wtf is that. But if you look past that it’s not too bad. A fun read

I enjoyed this book. The plot is fast-paced yet detailed. The characters are diverse and interesting. The relationship between Sage and Von is very slow burn and clearly has a lot of backstory that I cannot wait to learn more about. Between Life & Death gives off some major ACOTAR vibes, as if the relationship between Sage and Von is heavily inspired by Feyre and Rhysand, and I am here for it. Being a fan of long fantasy books, I hope the next book is longer with more of those slow-burn scenes. There were some lines in the book that just made me grin and giggle, and naturally sent them to my book bestie. Gotta share the love right? I wish we got to know more about the side characters, especially given the plot twist at the end. Maybe in the next book we learn more about them. Also, that ending… umm thank goodness the next book is already out. I don't know if I could survive a long wait time for the next one. Between Sun and Moon here I come!
