I loved the first 3 books but this one not so much. It was meh for me. I mean the main characters are not very observant. A new kid comes in and he is trusted immediately? Come on now I saw that twist from miles a way.

It was fun, the ending was predictable.

I'm still very excited to read the 5th!

Just. Go read it. And pre-buy book 5. You’ll thank me. But I can’t promise that book 5 will make you feel better when it ends. Because then you’ll have to wait for book 6.

3.5. This is a ARC, because the story is not centered in the school for good and evil. We still get to read under Agatha (favorite) and Sophie perspective; we get the chance to read under a few others. I gave this book 3 stars because of the lack of focus on setting. I was constantly questioning where I was at and what the setting was. Is this a steampunk world with fairytales or is this a Fairytale story centered in a wood? Also, the pacing is WAY to fast for this book. It was action after action, after more action. We didn' really get a chance to learn enough about the new characters and the other storylines. I am happy to read in this world again, but I need more from what the author gave us as far as setting and character development.
