It’s a sensual slower-burn, where each MMC is a bit adorably shy, but the other mitigates their embarrassment through embracing their nervousness. Amidst the cringey, dirty flirting and unexpected healthy communication previously vacant in the other four novels, it was a near perfect read, minus the one’s vile mustache
As always, so did not disappoint!! In fact, it was FERFECT!

Cute, but not my fave. I think maybe I was hoping for a bit more depth for Vance? Still super cute though, very low stakes and Quinn is a cutie fs

It was not bad but also not great. It’s rather standard (not in a bad way).

This was such a sweet read. I thought Ayri & Vance were a couple that worked really well together. Ayri was adorable with his innocence & nervousness, which lead to some entirely hilarious situations - his cheating confession had me in stitches! I really liked Vance being his opposite in this way; he was calm, competent and confident, especially in Ayri. Once the mutual pining & obliviousness was over, it was nice to see that they just fit together.
I also loved how this was able to show a different side to a workplace romance; one where the workplace knows about it & is happy for the couple, but they’re going to put measures in place to protect all three parties.

I don't know why but I think this has been my least favorite in the series so far. I guess I wasn't buying the chemistry, it didn't feel palpable like with the other couples. Probably the best part of this book for me was seeing so much of Asher.
