Wow, okay that was a really chaotic and messy road of a read but loved how it came together. I loved how they healed each other and how their live forced them to become better for each other.

The drug use was almost to much for me and the cutting and knife play definitely too much. It was very chaotic and tumultuous at times. I felt kinda like what is going on and nearly dnf'd several times but glad I stuck with it to see the resolution of Cole finding out the truth and Johanna finally being able to heal and Kai getting his fresh start

would recommend but heads up its a chaotic and messy read at times.

This book has a central topic of drug use, addiction and emotional suppression / trauma. Please check triggers. So emotional and so raw. Honestly I think how the author portrayed this characters view was amazing but again so emotional and raw.

ROLLERCOASTER!!!

I actually read and listen to this book. This book totally took me out of my comfort zone, but it was so so worth it. Jescie you have a way of making your characters so relatable that I could not put this book down. It’s been quite a while since I’ve read a book that truly captures real life situations that every day people experience. Thank you so much for shining a light on every day occurrences. I personally cannot wait to see what the future brings to you Jescie because you truly have a bright future in writing and I will be here for that ride. This book has trigger warnings. If you cannot handle the topics of this book, please do not buy this book because your mental health matters.
