This story was incredible. I was so surprised that this story tied so well with Hawke( the book before) but was so completely different. Jescie absolutely touched on extremely heavy topics in an incredible way and the story was absolutely beautiful while keeping it deliciously and darkly spicy!

This one was tragic and raw. I didn't enjoy it as much as Hawke to be fair, but it was still a good read.
This god damn book, I read and listened to it, and seriously the words, the acting, the STORY, holy shit.
Even if you arenât an audiobook person, PLEASE give Joe and CJ a chance because they will break your heart and put it right back together. If you have ever struggled with addiction please give it a chance.

a beautiful representation of addiction and mental health...i really took my time with this book cuz it felt absolutely necessary to read every word and not miss out on the writing.
This book hit a little too close to home for me, but I think thatâs what kept me glued to it. I felt so much frustration for Kid but so much pain and sympathy for Han at the same time. I finished this book in less than a day and I enjoyed every bit of it!
I was definitely unsure about this book the first few chapters, but the characters quickly grew on me and I swear I ended up highlighting half the book. Love to see the growth in the main characters and the love emerging through the chaos. Twisted and weird, but we all are a little. The spice was flaming hot, and I cried a ton - both these emotions are my fave combination for book reactions. Excited to read more books by this author!
