Omg!!!!!!
Absolutely brilliant. Pushed barriers and ripped them away. I absolutely loved, loved this book. And im utterly jealoys of Lily. I need a Cade. The 'you know' scenes are top notch.
I cannot wait to dive into more from the Carnival.

This is an excellent read for the Halloween season; it has a stalker and a lot of Dark Romance
For the first time, I finally found a book in which the FMC called the cops when she found out she had a stalker. She found him cute when she saw him, but she was unhappy when he started stalking her.
The MMC was unhinged from the beginning and very protective; however, he did not understand boundaries.
This book has everything a dark romance girl is looking for.
Please remember to look at trigger warnings before you jump into this book.

Alright, let’s get one thing straight—Selena Winters owes me financial compensation for the emotional damage this book inflicted. I started reading, thinking I was getting a spooky little carnival story with some darkness and spice. Instead, I got dragged through the haunted house of my worst decisions, and I liked it.
First things first: Cade. This man is certifiably unhinged—and I say that with both fear and inappropriate levels of attraction. You ever read about a character and think, I should NOT want this, but here we are? Yeah. That’s Cade. He’s intense, obsessive, and the human embodiment of a red flag—and yet, somehow, I’m fully prepared to risk it all. This man does not know the meaning of personal space, boundaries, or sanity, and frankly? It’s hot.
Now, let’s talk about the triggers—and oh honey, there are so many. Selena Winters sat down and said, What if I threw in every single thing that makes readers gasp, clutch their pearls, and maybe reevaluate their life choices? And then she did it. If you’re sensitive, check those warnings because this book does not hold back.
And the infamous wrench? Listen. You think you’re ready. You are not ready. Just when you settle into thinking, Okay, I can handle this, Selena yanks the rug out, drop-kicks your feelings, and sets the whole damn carnival on fire. I sat there blinking at my Kindle, whispering, No, she didn’t. But oh yes, she did.
Now, for the important stats:
⭐ 4/5 stars – because my soul is bruised, but in a good way.
🔥 4/5 spice – enough to make you sweat, but also make you question if you should be calling a therapist or an exorcist.
Final thoughts? Selena Winters is a menace, Cade is the walking definition of “seek help,” and I need a drink. Highly recommend if you enjoy your books dark, twisted, and a little bit morally corrupt.

I feel the first half was just retelling Carnival Obsession(Alice and Lars). If you haven't read it yet, you will understand when you do.
Also it was like there wasn't any real story. Just real possessive and owning her whether she wanted it or not.
Sure it ends in HEA but meh....I would have preferred a story with Tyson or maybe even Nash.
