I'm new to the why choose trope so I'm still getting use to the idea of "sharing" someone. I do feel like their relationships started naturally, unlike some others in romance. I think the issue with having so many characters and POVs is you can't get deep into the character and really know them. And sometimes I felt like the POVs were uneven. We could've gotten more from Gavin. He fell really flat as a character. I really liked Briar. Despite having such a douche of an ex, she seemed like she had her head on straight and new what she deserved once leaving him. She is a strong woman and it was great to read one of those. Overall I enjoyed the book. It was lighthearted and fun, but don't expect anything deep. And I almost stopped reading near the beginning of the book because the author chose to say "unalive" someone instead of just kill. We are adults and we are not on tiktok. Please do not use tiktok slang/phrases while writing a book. It takes the reader out of the story, especially when it was something as dumb as that.

Another fantastic why choose hockey romance from Lauren Blakely. ๐™’๐™š๐™ก๐™ก ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™๐™ง๐™ช๐™ก๐™ฎ ๐™‹๐™ช๐™˜๐™ ๐™š๐™™ was such a fun and steamy read. Safe to say this book has officially become my favorite in the series. Each of the main characters were so lovable in different ways. The communication between them was refreshing. Overall, a really fun read that will have you laughing one minute and fanning yourself the next. I really enjoyed it. This is a great series to start with if youโ€™re looking to read your first why choose romance.

Another why choose, sports romcom as newly single yoga instructor Briar goes looking for the big โ€œOโ€, something that has been missing from her lifeโ€ฆโ€ฆ well unless she wanted to do a little DIY that is and who better to help her on her quest than not one, not two but three, yes three ice hockey players, not that Iโ€™m jealous but really โ€“ greedy much!!!  Rhys, Gavin and Hollis all play for the same team which just happens to be the main rivals of the team that Briar works for, but after helping her with a little catnapping, when they heard she was on a mission, to a man they volunteered as tribute.

I loved the dynamics in Well and Truly Pucked, not only between Briar and her men but the three guys as well and I loved their group texting and superstitions when it came to their winning streak.  Their banter was deliciously wicked and their game nights seriously spicy.  The only problem I had was that they seemed quite similar to me and at times I struggled to keep who was who straight in my head, even the token Brit, Rhys so Iโ€™m on the fence with the whole quadruple angle and think it mightโ€™ve been a man too much but then again how could Briar possibly choose if she had to?

Lauren has done it again! Another amazing book in this series, and this time there are even more men involved. I loved listening to the duet narration, such a great story. I was worried I would get confused who was talking and whose limbs would be where, but it was actually so easy to keep them all separate. Everybody had their own struggles and wishes, and they just work so well together as a group! The main takeaway from this book, sharing is caring! ;)

I voluntarily read an advance review copy of this book

I love Lauren Blakely books she has a specific style that I think some people either love or hate and I am a lover of it.

This book leans more into the relationship side with hockey as a sub plot so if you arenโ€™t sure if sports romances are for you this book and series may be a good one for you to start with.

I enjoyed how the characters came together and sure it felt predictable at times but sometimes you just need a good predicable book. Something that you can rely on to enjoy and have a good time with.

Spice was definitely open door and quite a bit of it - 3.5/5 on my scale. Though I can see others rating it higher.

Either way, I would definitely recommend if you are a fan of Lauren or Tessa Bailey books.

This was my first Lauren Blakely book and I need to read the rest of the series! Well and Truly Pucked is a steamy, entertaining, why choose, hockey romance. Briar finds herself single after a betrayal from her toxic ex and she needs help in the dating and intimacy department. Her vacation rental had a mishap and she ended up in a place with three hockey players.

Briar, Hollis, Rhys and Gavin all worked so well together. They all had brought something to the table and knew what the others needed. Briar had a unique connection with each guy and it just made everything more special. I loved that they put Briar first and made sure she was comfortable with everything that was happening. The banter was great! It was nice to see their backstory but how there was emotion and it all felt authentic. There is so much respect, care and support between the four of them. I loved seeing how their dynamic came together and balanced together.

This book was adorable!! I loved the group dynamic. The friend group was fantastic. And the way they supported her was so pure! They didn't shame her but helped her and that was just beautiful. This book had heart and humor which is all I can ask for in a book.
