Well and Truly Pucked is the fourth book in Lauren Blakely’s why choose hockey romance. They are interconnected standalone so they can be read in any order- this was my first one of the series. It’s funny and sweet! I love the relationship connection with Briar, Hollis, Rhys, and Gavin. There is so much banter, swoony moments as the guys are trying to impress her. It’s just overall a really fun time and you get some fun characters! Fun light hearted very steamy read! After these three hockey players are beyond feral for Brair and helping her learn and grow! The communication between the four is really amazing and great. The text messages between the boys is hilarious!

This book was a lot more funny than I expected. I found myself giggling in the first chapter, and basically every other page after that, when there wasn't some incredible spice going on. This book had a lot of heart as well. The characters made me feel for them from their first introductions and I loved them all growing together and seeing where their relationships went.
Again, another audiobook sensation just a lot of fun. I love Samantha Brentmore. I just wish maybe a different accent just to put a difference between all the FMC‘s in the series but overall just a lot of fun.
Briar and her 3 hockey stars. There’s a lot of heat for sure!
She gets tossed out of her apartment by her cheating Ex who kidnaps her cat. Enter 3 hockey players who volunteer to help get her cat. Fast forward to a reservation mixup at a weeklong festival where all 4 of them have to share a cottage. And then?
Briar wants to know what a great boyfriend acts like to enter a contest - revenge on her Ex too. Rhys, Gavin and Hollis volunteer. In all ways. These 4 all have their issues and together they work thru those. They are much better together.
This is a full cast audiobook. Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke (as a Brit!), Connor Crais and Teddy Hamilton’s individual and group performances are absolutely amazing. Exceptional narrations!
There’s a ton of heat in this book of course but there’s also sweetness, emotion, and a very satisfying HEA.
Oh. And Donut the dachshund is a star!

Well and Truly Pucked-Advanced Readers Copy (ARC) REVIEW
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book, this is my personal and truthful review.
I liked how this book flowed, it had a good and deep connection between the characters. The characters connection built and grew through the storyline.
The FMC, Briar, is a yoga teacher and I really enjoyed her storyline on how she was trying to get her app up off the ground by herself and not once did the MMCs fund the app-she worked hard and it made her character feel like a strong independent woman.
This is book four in the series however they read as standalone books so you don’t have to read them in order but you really should because you won’t be disappointed.
Tropes:
•hockey romance
•why choose
•close proximity
•yoga teacher
•rivals to lovers

Sweet, Full of Spice and Fun!
First off I have to admit I read this book out of order of the series, but that didn’t seem to be a problem at all. When yoga instructor Briar is unceremoniously dumped by her cheating boyfriend and thrown out she has no choice but to pick herself up and regroup. Luckily for her she bumps into 3 hockey players, Hollis, Rhys and Gavin who quickly swoop in with the assist.
Already booked to do some yoga demonstrations at a festival Briar decides to go early and get some time to figure things out. She quickly discovers there been an error and her rental is double booked with the same 3 knights in shining armor Hockey guys. Oh darn what ever should she do? That’s right we’ve got a bit of forced proximity in this why choose romance. These guys are each swoon worthy and hot as can be. They decide to show her how a really good boyfriend should treat her and she soon discovers more can really be better after all.
I really enjoyed this book. Each character is so well written you fall in love with Hollis, Rhys and Gavin right away. Briar is also a strong heroine. Yeah she’s having a bad moment in time, but she’s moving forward and discovering so much about herself and what she needs to be happy. Especially important is discovering what she deserves and that she is absolutely worthy of all the love and respect. Now the spice in this book is molten lava. Do yourself a favor and also listen to the audiobook. Don’t hesitate, just do it. Absolutely brilliant work from the entire cast. Bravo!!
