Not my favorite of Lauren Blakely‘s Books. Not bad, just not a favorite.
But…… at the end of the audio book, there’s a blooper chapter and it is AMAZING.

This was cute, I wish we’d gotten to know the guys a little better but I enjoyed it!
This was unexpectedly sweet and cute. Gavin, Rhys, and Hollis all fell so hard for Briar and were considerate, attentive, and excellent boyfriends. I loved them all and couldn’t possible pick a favorite between them. The rivals to lovers, forced proximity because they are roommates, forbidden love was super hot, and the romance lessons were adorable. Briar is spunky, hardworking, and so selfless. Why choose isn’t really my jam, but I still enjoyed it.
I was lucky to get an early copy of this super fun and spicy read! This book is apart of a series, but it was the first book of the series I’ve read and I was not lost at all! It could totally be a stand alone, so do not let it discourage you from reading this.
After Blair’s boyfriend dumps her moves in with his new girlfriend, Blair decides she does not need any man. Until 3 hot hockey players change her mind… This book keeps you wanting to read more, and causes you to blush at times. I would definitely recommend it!!

If you're looking for a steamy and sweet romance with a happily ever after that feels truly meant to be, look no further
Well and Truly Pucked is is the fourth book in the My Hockey Romance series, but it can be read as a standalone.
Briar’s ex-boyfriend broke up with her, kicked her out of their home, and tried to steal her cat. So with the help of not one, not two, but three hockey players (from the “rival” team), she gets her cat back.
She ends up going on vacation, but the house was already rented to the same three hockey players who helped her. And they all agree to help her learn about romance…and experiencing an orgasm.
This was such a fun and spicy why choose hockey romance. There was no angst and only a little drama.
And the way all three of the guys brought something different to Briar, but ultimately they all fell, was great!
Now for the audio…
Audio:
Narrators: Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, and Teddy Hamilton
Style: Full Cast, duet
Samantha Brentmoor was Briar, and she did a fantastic job (no surprise there). Jason Clarke was the Rhys, the British hockey hero. I love a good British accent, and I thought he did a great job. Connor Crais was the broody and grumpy Gavin, and he did an amazing job. Teddy Hamilton was the golden retriever, Hollis, and he truly brought the character to life. Overall, everyone did an amazing job. This was truly such a great audiobook, because there were even parts where they all talked at the same time, and I could hear each voice overlapping!
Also, the bloopers were hilarious

In the 4th and final installment of Lauren Blakely's Why Choose Hockey Romance series, Well & Truly Pucked deviates from the previous interconnected standalones by going from two adoring pro hockey players falling in love with a jilted female to three adoring pro hockey players falling in love with a jilted female. This story revolves around Briar, the yoga instructor who we've seen in the previous books as the friend to Trina, Audrey & Ivy.
As with the previous books, I listened to this one on audio and the full cast performance is a 10 out of 10. Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais and Teddy Hamilton are a dream cast and they work together seamlessly to make this story come to life.
This story, as with the rest of this series, is pure spicy fantasy. Three gorgeous hockey players (one with a British accent) who want to consume, admire, cherish the woman of their desire. And of course, she's one who doesn't truly know what it's like to have a boyfriend who gives her those things (as well as gives her the big O). This has the best banter, a fun plot (revenge on an ex who tried to steal Briar's cat), emotional background stories for each of the MCs, and of course, the hottest sex scenes that are dripping with lust on the page.
Bonus is that the story ends with the setup for Lauren's new MF series, Love & Hockey, which is still in the world of the San Fran Sea Dogs. I cannot wait until the first book, The Boyfriend Goal, comes out in August!
