This was rough. My stomach physically hurt while reading this book. Zach is the worst. And Lucky is a doormat. I skimmed the last 30% of this book because I just couldn’t handle anymore of their whining.

Yyyyyeah this one didn’t work for me. The only thing I could think throughout was the reviews of the second book where everyone kept saying Ash was a doormat and I couldn’t disagree more. Then I come to the reviews of this book and everyone is like OMG LUCKY AMAZING. Weeeell, I’m sorry but he was so lame I was about to throw my phone out the window, he was the friendly neighbourhood doormat on this series and can’t change my mind

I could almost even go five stars with this but rounding down because it was just a bit too long. Don't get me wrong I like longer books but the three different life or death scenarios they went through was one too many. The whole sabotage was anticlimactic and we could have found a better way to put lucky in danger imo. Oh also appendicitis does not resolve in a week

Forever sobbing.

WHAT A SERIES. This has been such an incredibly rewarding journey that I am honored to have taken part in. I absolutely loved it.

Fine, it's a trope, grumpy character meets happy carefree character, they fall in love, and it's all cute. Not my favourite trope to begin with. But a grumpy character can be charming in a way, when he or she eventually warms up. Or stays grumpy, that can work too. Zach is so far beyond grumpy though, he's just an asshole. The whole possessive thing is not romantic. It is understandable that Lucky fell completely in love with Zach when he was 15, because 15-year-olds are stupid. Why Lucky is still in love with Zach is very much not understandable, because Zach has pretty much no redeeming features. This whole relationship just feels very unhealthy (even excluding the age difference), which makes the sex scenes (and there are so many of them) feel very icky.

Got any chapstick?

Omg, I’m dying here! This book was fantastic. Ore times than I could count, I wanted to reach in and hug Lucky while stretching a hand out to snack Zach upside the heads before taking him into my arms.
