Nečetla jsem toho od Colleen moc, jen pár knih, ale musím říct, že Vzpomínky na něj mi přišly zatím jako nejlepší kniha od ní. Ačkoliv jsem byla zhruba do poloviny knihy rozpačitá z Ledgera a úplně jsem mu nevěřila, že to s Kennou myslí vážně a spíš jsem tak nějak předpokládala, že to dělá jen aby se jí pomstil za Scottyho smrt, postupem času jsem poznala, že jsem se v něm hrozně mýlila. No a konec knihy, tak tam i pár slziček ukáplo. Krásná kniha, hodně smutná vlastně, hodně depresivní, ale s dobrým koncem. A jak autorka píše v doslovu, líbí se mi že to není situované do konkrétního místa. Vlastně v celé knize nenajdete název města. Colleen v doslovu píše, že to udělala záměrně, protože holek a žen jako je Kenna, chodí po světě spoustu.

Krásná kniha, moc doporučuji a zařazuji na seznam TOP knih!

Rating 4.5- I loved this so much, this book was heartbreaking and so complex. While this is a romance book this book is so much more than that and is at its core a love story between mother and daughter. Such a heartwarming read.

Alles in einem ein sehr schönes (Hör)Buch, allerdings keine unglaublichen Plottwists oder Wendungen. Die Charaktere sind durchweg nachvollziehbar und gut ausgearbeitet und der Plot stimmig. Eine Geschichte dieser "Art" bzw. das Erlebte von Kenna zu lesen/hören ist mal etwas anderes, da diese Perspektive nicht oft in Büchern aufgegriffen wird.
Mir persönlich fehlte der Überraschungseffekt bei diesem Buch. Dennoch war es trotzdem angenehm zu lesen/hören, besonders weil Colleen Hoovers Schreibstil und Geschichten einen nicht mehr loslassen sobald man angefangen hat.
