Did not expect to love this as much as I did. It was mainly the title that threw me off cause like “Hot Cop” just sounds really mf cringey. Now with that being said I actually really enjoyed it. Definitely read for smut cause the whole plot of this is that the fmc wants the mmc to get her pregnant so like yeah you get the point. But shit was hot and spicy. Ngl I forgot Sierra Simone co-wrote this and when I saw she did it clicked on why the spice was spicin
4.5 ‘Officer Kelly can arrest me any time!’ Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oh, I absolutely loved this book. It was such a beautiful and delightful one to read. It made me smile and just feel good the whole time I was reading it. The chemistry between the characters was passionate and the comedic timings hit home every time. I really enjoyed this one a lot.

There's officially less than a month before the story inspired by Sierra Simone and her hot cop husband* can hit (and cuff) your readers! YAY!
*No no no, it's not REALLY their true life story. Not even a little bit, really. Although she did used to be a librarian. And he is a cop. So, maybe? I mean...what IS life, anyway?

I thought I was gonna love this, in fact I was counting on this to snap my book slump. However, this was my reaction to this book.

The main character Livia is a mess and I don't mean that in a hot mess, this is kind of fun way. I'm mean it in a what the hell is going on way. On one hand she comes off like a Bachelor contestant who's bemoaning her life being over at 29 and needing a baby asap even though she's put zero thought into actually having a baby. On the other hand she's intelligent, doesn't trust men, a feminist with an anti-relationship stance. Not only do these two sides of her clash we don't get any glimpse into why she feels this way so. I found Livia incredibly frustrating.
Chase was great but I need more from a book than an amazing hero.

Livia has just turned 29 and is freaking out. Her biological clock is ticking loudly and she fears her life is over. She wants to have a baby before she’s 30 but she doesn’t believe in relationships because she doesn’t trust men. When she meets Chase, he wats her and she wants him to give her a baby, no strings attached, so it’s a win-win for everyone. Hijinks follow and soon feelings are involved but it’s a fun ride.
Livia is funny and real, Chase is delicious and their story is full of laughs. This was a quick read and a lighthearted feel-good one at that.
*sigh* Chase. My god Chase. You knew how to talk to a woman. No wonder they call you mister good times. Audible is my new guilty pleasure. I think I laugh harder when something funny happens, cry when something life changing or heart breaking happens, and I feel the characters pain. Jacob Morgan brought Chase to life and I loved every minute. And that epilogue *fans self*
Ugh. Yes I read it. And yes I loved it....but you can really thank Jacob Morgan and Elena Wolf for that 5th star, they are solid gold narrators.

Super hot and well-written. A great blend of humor and sexy from two of my favorite authors.
I really liked Livia. She's intelligent, independent and a total bookworm. What's not to love?!? She knows what she wants, and what she doesn't want and isn't afraid to go after it, no matter what the circumstances.
Unfortunately, I didn't connect with Chase very well. I was actually pretty turned off by his response to Livia's proposition and the sort of flippant attitude that came across from him a majority of the book. Sadly, I just didn't fall in love with him the way I normally fall in love with Laurelin and Sierra's men, which made it difficult for me to fall in love with him and Livia as a couple.
The plot was a little predictable but filled with just the right amount of sweet moments, extreme heat and the perfect touch of humor to keep me reading.
Although this wasn't my favorite, I have no doubt that fans of both of these authors will enjoy this story and fall in love with Chase and Livia.

Sierra Simone can truly do no wrong, especially when she uses Jacob Morgan as the narrator of one of her books. Laurelin Paige is also becoming a new fave.
3.5 stars.
Listened to this on audio. The narration was fantastic. It's a dual narration.
I really enjoyed this. It was a fun, sexy, and sweet.
I didn't really love either character but I also didn't hate them either. They both did things that I liked and things that bugged me.
Only had some minor irritations/complaints. Livia's obsession with turning 30 and that she was "dead" or going to be dead now that 30 was right around the corner got on my nerves. If it was a one or two jokes, fine, but it was overkill. And I didn't appreciate some of Chase's thoughts about how many women he had been with or that there might be little Chase's running around because of a couple oops moments. Just made him a little less desirable.
Overall though, this was fun and sexy.
