I read half of this in public at a silent book club yesterday and failed the silent part by laughing out loud every three pages. And it's been a while since I finished a book in floods of tears but I'm just floating along on a little sofa raft right now. Honestly I thought I was going to give up on this book 50 or so pages in, I really do not care for the author commenting on human nature in the prose thing, but then the mystery was too compelling and I kept going. Just like the story says you should.

Es un libro muy tierno y esperanzador que contiene uno de mis tropes favoritos: familia encontrada (en este caso amigos que se convierten en familia). Cuanto más avanzaba la historia más me gustaba; mis partes favoritas son el capítulo 58 y el final.

También me ha parecido muy bonita la manera en la que el auor trata tan delicadamente temas difíciles como el suicidio, cómo le da importancia al humor y la risa en tiempos difíciles y cómo resalta que en esos momentos siempre hay alguien que nos quiere y que está dispuesto a ayudarnos.
