I really liked this one but it did have some issues: mainly that Marlow and Adrius' will-they-won't-they got dragged out wayyyyy too long and that Cassandra was completely superfluous to the story. She added absolutely nothing so what was the point of her being alive? Literally no reason for it, at all, just felt sloppy tbqh. Everything else I was totally on board with. I liked Vale being given some grayness and Swift and Sylvan.

3-3.5, not quite as good as the first, but had potential. It's not the worst thing ever to introduce a ton of new stuff in a sequel, I didn't hate it by any means, but also could have done without. Definitely reads like a Veronica Mars series of episodes. Again, not mad at it.

I just feel with some better editing, this could have been combined into a great stand alone at 500 pages or something like that.

Ohhh my heartttt<3 loved this book so much. The characters being fleshed out so well, having their own wants and desires, flaws, etc. 
It was well written imo.
I think at one point things went too fast, which is why I'm not giving this a five.

But! I adore this story and I'll read it again and again
