Cartoon Super Villain ending but at least the main characters were making out the whole time. Really funny how they thought no one could tell.

I loved the first book, but the second fell sadly flat for me. It read like a bad ya-book 😭. No depths for the characters, confusing plot and the writing style definitely changes. everything is spelled out for you, your not allowed to think for yourself for a moment. Marlow develops into that super-human who knows all and saves everyone. I don’t particularly like that trope.
