3.5 rounded down. Another fun and zany book in the Aunties series. It is so chaotic, but in a good way!

2.5-2.75 stars. So sad, I absolutely loved the first book and was super excited for this one but I just couldn’t get into it. It was so over the top and basically felt like the same book all over again but more ridiculous the second time. The aunties were funny as usual but it was just hard to take any of their antics/the plot seriously and Meddy really annoyed me as the book progressed. I felt so bad for Nathan, he’s so sweet and understanding and I would have been so upset with Meddy if I were him. So definitely not a new favorite unfortunately but I still loved the first book and recommend it!

I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much as the first one, but still a fun read full of absolute chaos!

Grade: C
It got to the point where I was like “another thing? 😑” instead of “another thing? 😂” which was not the right mood. Also I felt like Meddy didn’t actually learn anything from the first book. The aunts felt a little like caricatures rather than characters. But the ending was sweet!

I’m unsure if I want to finish the series with the third book.

I really enjoyed the first, but this book was just fine. I enjoyed it but I don’t find Meddy as endearing as I used to and the the writing just feels to simple to keep me engaged for a third installment.

I really appreciate the added mystery elements and will definitely expand my reading to include more of that! But yes, just unsure if I want to continue right now.

I have a feeling there are better books to read.
