Sixth book in W.R. Gingell's urban fantasy City Between series. At this point you know what you are getting -- cast of fun and quirky characters and a madcap plot that leaves you with more questions than answers. And I knew that but that still doesn't mean that I wish there was some flaming resolution by the end! Also our heroine while supposed to be so clever and smart is unbelievably clueless when it comes to certain things (*wink wink*). Plus she doesn't seem to try very hard to investigate her mysterious past either. But Gingell obviously knows what she's doing because I've read 6 books in a matter of weeks!

One thing I love about this series is that just when you think you have gotten things down to a formula and have figured things out, new stuff is thrown in. We see characters mature and grow (Pet actually refrains from sticking her tongue out at someone), hints of romance (emphasis on "hints" - there's still not very much, but that's okay,) and a significant mystery surrounding Morgana is resolved (as bittersweet as it is.) But, despite the fact that it's BOOK 6 :O there's new mythological critters thrown in and new characters introduced, and even as old threads are being tied up new ones are woven in. So I really enjoyed that.

a few of my favorite moments: the character that Morgana plays as on the video game; when Zero didn't understand something about computer stuff and Pet automatically explains "yeah, it's like a security spell..." And the tie frog. The tie frog is priceless. XD

Also can we appreciate how little Korean there is? Not that I mind the Korean, I enjoy it, but the implications are interesting.

As far as any negatives, the only thing is that I don't get the title? I've understood the book titles up to this point but I'm not sure what walls it's referring to. Plus it is a little creepier than previous installments. :P

I just like the characters too much to stop even though the story/plot has been quite boring and uninteresting for a few books now. :/
