In one word this book was..emotional.
I went in blind just from the cover, this one was rough.
Crying throughout a book hasn't happened to me a lot but this one hit a little closer than I expected.
Deacon & Julian's journey although rocky at first is beautiful as the book ended. Wanting to reach in and just hug them both was a familiar feeling while reading each of their POVs.
Grief a everlasting feeling, you can push it down and ignore it but it always comes back just when you think everything is okay.
This story was told in such a gripping way that it draws you in and keeps you there not wanting to let these characters go and move on but such is the thing with the ending of a book.
If you are up for a great book on loss, guilt and letting go to finally be happy then this is the book for you, take a chance and go to Montana/Seattle and meet Deacon & Julian.
Marley is a new author for me but this book will definitely not be my last, I am definitely glad I grabbed this one up.

Super adorable romance about love, loss, and finding yourself.
Without You is my first exposure to Marleys books and I’m completely floored. This book is so much more than a romance. It’s a story about grief, picking up the pieces, and finding your own happiness in the face of what’s been in front of you the whole time.
Deacon and Julian’s story is a tragic one at the beginning but becomes a happy one for their circumstances towards the end, it inflicts powerful emotions and unfathomable heartache that will leave you sad at first but your heart will eventually heal like it does for the characters.
It’s absolutely 5 stars and in my opinion so extremely different from any M/M romance because of the raw emotion dealing with death. I’m so glad I finally read it and gave Marley my time, she’s an incredible writer and I’m looking forward too reading the other books she’s written in her expansive arsenal of reading material.

This made me UGLY CRY. What more do I need to say? Read it.
Not necessarily badly written; the author is definitely talented and doesn't deserve 1 star, but my gosh, after the 60% mark it just continously went OFF the rails. It is sooo upsetting and annoying and I am too deep in my feelings to be calm and think rationally about this.
This book is the WORST because it started off so strong (was able to look past the dead brother trope), and it slowly descended into a steaming hot pile of garbage that just got steamier and garbagier with every page.
Cover is fucking hot though.
