i HATE steven so much he's so annoyinggggg

more of a 3.5 rather than a 4. this book wasn't as good as the first one, it felt like nothing happened but stuff did happen? it felt all over the place. if I wasn't reading this as an audiobook, I don't think I could get through it. it's good to listen to while you do your chores and clean around the house but I wasn't as addicted at the first one.

and romance is... interesting? she spills her heart out to julian at the end of book 1 and then they kind of break up? it just felt like there were a lot of loose strings in the book and it wasn't a satisfying ending, even though I know that there are more books to go.

hot cop is valid though, i like him.
