Love this series! The mysteries are so good. Finlay is such a great character. These will you have you laughing at the turns or takes.
I am really enjoying this series! The plots are fun and the characters are interesting. I can’t wait for book three to come out in January!
So far I’ve loved both books in this series. They’re so light and funny but keep you engaged. I’ll keep reading the series to see what else Finlay gets into.
Just a teeny bit less fun than the first, but still a great time! Fin is such a trip. She cannot stay out of trouble to save her life… or anyone else’s for that matter. It’s a riot!
The mystery was nail-biting, but I just don’t see her husband as worthy of so much attention! He’s certainly no prize, but it was a bit of a stretch to make the whole book centered on his, um, situation.
I loved the dynamic with Vero and her family, giving just a hint of what is happening. I can’t wait for the next book to show some details! Her friendship with Finlay is everything.
The telling vs showing balance was a touch off in this book. The first one did a great job of revealing truths through action. This one is heavier on the exposure through conversation, which is kind of a bummer for me.
Very much looking forward to the next one! We need more Nick!! We need more Vero!

This book is just as good as the first. Also Vero's secrets coming to life added great drama. This was such an easy read and I need more!

This book was fine. But not better than fine. I still love Finlay and Vero as well as Georgia and Nick but the story was really more frustrating than anything else. Finlay continued to have the same issues she had in the first book, she continued to act just a bit daft about so many things but then have super human abilities and knowledge about others. I don’t regret reading it and I’m glad I gave the series another chance but I won’t be reading anymore of it for sure. The characters are good but the story read like there are going to be a dozen books in the series which means it’s all a bit circuitous.
