the start of the book felt pretty bland, i didnt like the fast bur/insta love trope going on between logan and riley (although its just personal preference) it got interesting after the reveal of the connection between grayson and riley.

what made me kinda put out, is the royce thing. i thought it would be a focus between the relationship between riley and royce when she found out abt his name and how she heard that he was accused of rape. idk i feel like she should be more scared of knowing the info especially with he previous experience.

but turn out she didnt pay it to much mind because he never went across the limit of her consent etc.
like i know royce probably didnt do it. but her feelings towards that feels like, 'hes not guilty, because he didnt do it to me' type of feeling. so yeah that was weird.

OMFG this book!!! If you like dark reverse-harem college romance than go check this out! I was so utterly captivating, devoured this within 10hrs (over 2days), Honestly If I didn't have to sleep (I still obsessed during that lol), I'd have completed in 1 day! I love, love this new series. I'm so glad to get the #ARC. It'd ALL THE FEELS! Happy, Cry, drama, Suspense, ANGER. (It was my longest book by Smyth!)

Riley, she's a survivor. (TW

To say that I was sucked in from the very beginning of this book is putting it lightly. It has been a while since I completely lost track of time and didn’t want to do anything except read. Well, let me tell you right now that this book is a book that made me do just that. It also leaves you needing more.

R.A. Smyth has written a book that checks off all the categories that you need. Strong FMC, suspense, deliciously hot MMCs, chemistry, sleazy boss etc… This isn’t the first book that I have read by the author. And it won’t be the last. Get this book now!!

Riley has a secret. We know her secret, the boys don't.
She is keeping it from Logan, Royce, and especially her stepbrother Grayson. The only thing is we don't know why she's keeping the secret when it's the only thing that could exonerate her from the allegations Greyson's family has lodged with her.
She's won over Logan and Royce to her side without the secret coming out, will the information destroy her relationships with them? Will it destroy Grayson all together?
This is a fairly spicy book. Especially between Riley and Greyson. I'm giving it

I am obsessed!!!! Riley is such a strong FMC and working so hard to overcome all of her past trauma.. I’m not sure how I feel about the boys yet.. Logan was growing on me, Royce was the perfect book boyfriend with all of his red flags, and then there is Greyson…. I’m not sure he has any redeemable qualities but maybe if he gets is head out of his *** he can see the truths around him… this is a fantastic start to a duet and I can’t wait for book 2!!!!

After years of surviving her past, Riley goes to university to better her future. While she is there, she has the chance to tutor the school’s star hockey player, Logan; he has two roommates that he considers brothers, Royce and Grayson. They all have their own interactions with Riley. As more of Riley’s secrets come out, the three question her truths, which is ironic since Royce had his questioned. The book didn’t end on a traditional cliffhanger, but it managed to leave me wanting more. I need to see how the guys comes to terms with their mistakes. Riley has been through so much, and I want to see her happy. Pacific Prep by RA Smyth is one of my favorites series, but Frozen Hearts may have beaten it. It is a dark book, so please check the trigger warnings.

This book has the worst and most horrible of cliffhanger endings that I am now suffering through while I wait for the sequel. Riley has gone through so much in her past and is still fighting to overcome even more when her past comes forward to wreck her present. I don’t want to give away any secrets because this book just slowly fills in the blanks as you go which is torturous and provides the best reading experience! Please grab this book when it releases on October 4th and know that I warned you about how much anguish you will experience while waiting to know what happens next!
