Not as good as the first one. Very predictable, a bit boring and the story was dragged a bit. Mian got on my nerves, jesus "I want to be with you" , then "i hate you, i can'" , then "i have this feeling" , "I don't like you" , "I promise to stay" and to finish it "oh wait, i decided I can't take it", she is so annoying.
and while Angel spent the book showing he cares for her, he loves her, Mian spends the book trying to hurt him. Honestly, I didn't feel love from her. I didn't feel she actually loves him.

Holy cannoli!!! This duet had me enthralled and i couldnt get enough of the characters!
I'm just glad she stabbed him, that lying bastard had it coming. This book was a whole lot better than The first but
This is my first for reading from this author and boy this was a good one The Stolen Duet was gripping, a bit twisted and strong hot chemistry with Angel and Mian.
Perfection! Book 2 in the Stolen Duet and BB didn't disappoint! Mian drove me crazy but I loved this story! Couldn't put it down. I'll read more from BB any day!!

Mian still fiesty as ever and Angel doing what he thinks is the right thing.
I really wanted to hit him sometimes though! Hard headed man!
And Mian! I loved her and hated her at the same time too! So stubborn and hard headed like Angel!
It's like they clash head on at times, the fall out would surely kill anyone in a 10 mile radius!
Lucas and Z i still absolutely love!
The relationship they have with Angel and then for Mian is absolutely solid.
Loyal to a fault.
I still love Anna too! She's so damn sweet and i wanted to wrap her up.
The storyline is one that really grips you from page one. So when you read book one and you finish that damn cliffhanger and your probably willing to give up your first born for this one.. you know It's gonna be epic.
The wait is completely worth it!
I can't wait to see what else Ms Reid comes up with to keep us on our toes!

This was one of those books I really wanted to like, but I really really didn't. I started the second book of this series really hoping it would redeem the first one, but it was just more of the same. I'm a sucker for the revenge/second chance troupe in dark romances so I was really expecting to like this series, but these books just really turned me off. I really couldn't get over how cold and mean the guy character was. His mind games were just confusing and it makes you think that he really has no love for the heroine. And don't even get me started on her kid. I really wish this part wasn't in the books at all because it really made me mad. He keeps her child away from her for really long time periods and she still has sex with him? I stopped reading when I felt these characters just couldn't be redeemed. If I get as far as I did in a dark romance, I'd expect some type of action to indicate he loves the heroine in some way. This series was just not my cup of tea.

The first book really hooked me! Especially after the cliffhanger! But there is ZERO development between Mian and Angel in the second book after reading to 55%. Like ok I get it, hate Angel for everything he’s done, but good lord if you’ve decided to stay at least let up on him. Mian knows she loves Angel, but then she tries to slit his throat....big eye roll here. They’d have sexual activities, but then right after she’s planning on running away. Like that’s all she can think about. I’d also understand if the guys treated Caylen awful, BUT THEY DONT. They treat her child so well! All 3 main male characters are great. Loved them, but Mian is an extremely annoying character. I expected her to finally stop being so stubborn and be team Angel, but after reading other reviews sounds like that doesn’t even happen. Which is why I had to stop reading at 55%.
Now here’s the thing. I loved B.B Reid’s other books and will still continue, but I really hope to never read another character like Mian again.
