I really wanted to enjoy this one. But you could definitely tell it was written by 2 people at the same time. Lots of small details were missed and not lining up and it kept bringing me out of the story. Harrison pissed me off the entire time. Like my dude, your sister is 27, let her make her own damn choices. I wanted more hockey and more of their relationship growing. I don’t understand why it was so long when we didn’t even get a good build up and connection with their relationship.
lighthearted medium-paced

Overall a fun quick read. Characters were likable. It was slow in some parts, the book definitely should have been shorter.

One thing I didn’t like is the insta-love. They knew each other for less than a month and started saying I love and wanting to be together forever.

Down on her luck, Charlotte needs a place to crash after her douche ex-boyfriend not only breaks up with her but also kicks her out of the apartment she was paying for; she goes to her brother’s apartment that he shares with best friends and teammates.

She thought she was safe to crash there for a few nights since her brother, who plays for the NHL, was away playing on the road. Wrong! While she was dancing around naked to her Girl Power songs, she was met with three hockey players who were home early from their road trip. Sparks flew from there, with truths, lies, and spice.

I am a big fan of Melissa Ivers, and Lasairiona McMaster is a new author to me. I am here for it all. Sometimes, I wish Charlotte had more of a backbone. But I understand why it took her a while to find it. These four compromise a lot for their love. It was nice to see them all get their HEA at the end.

This book entertained me, enthralled me, and made me swoon over these hockey players. I savored every word, and I didn’t want it to end.

This is not the first RH story I've read, or the first with hockey team mates and little sister of a team mate/best friend. Being a long-time reader of anything hockey-romance related, I've noticed a significant increase in the number of offerings. I take this as a positive and appreciate the opportunity to read as many as I can (Thank you for the ARC).

I will start with what I liked about this story. The writing was great - easy readying, banter with the characters, even the fact that we have each character's point of view through the book. Definately spicy scenes and hot, alpha hockey players with heart. I found the story long, over 400 pages in my reader. I'd normally expect a story like this (rom-com) to be around 200 to 250 pages. I found the ongoing and ever growing lie to be too much after awhile. We're not dealing with 18 year olds, these are almost 30 somethings who need to own their s@#$ and deal with it.

Overall it was ok, just not new to me concept. If you're looking for a RH story with multiple points of view, give it a read. 3 stars from me.

Super cute lil fluffy hockey romance. Nothing new or mind blowing here, and honestly we could have gotten the same story with like 50-100 less pages but we did it!

The brother being the main conflict really irks me though. Just say you’re in love with your sister dude.
