Strangers in Time is one of those books that quietly sneaks up on you. On the surface, it’s about three strangers brought together during an incredibly hard time but as the story unfolds, it becomes clear it’s really about the family we choose when life doesn’t go as planned.
I appreciated how each character felt layered: imperfect, guarded, but ultimately human. Their bond didn’t feel rushed or overly sentimental it felt earned. The pacing dragged a little in the middle for me, which is why it’s not a full five stars, but the emotional payoff was definitely worth it.
If you enjoy books about found family, resilience, and healing through unexpected connections, this one’s worth picking up.
