Como todo lo que escribe George RR Martin, es estupendo, pero te deja con ganas de más. Parece que el segundo libro viene en camino, pero visto lo visto con Canción de Hielo y Fuego, no me hago ilusiones.

as a big fan of "a song of ice and fire" universe, this book easily would be one of my top readings this year. the concept is so cool, because apparently it is supposed to not be written by george r.r. martin the author himself, but some maester in citadel.
it blew my mind! feels like we are really inside the book, like we read this book as our history book, and we happen to be some character! i love the experience sooooo much!
for some people it might be boring, cause it's history book, but for the fans might be really like it. and of course as a historian book, it is bought in with so many sources from the characters that exists in the universe. well not that many, because most of the sources came from #teamgreen biased. it's making the book as open interpretation for the fans.
i started to read this actually because house of the dragons season 2 would be aired soon. i really can't wait so i decided to buy the book. i love dragons. anyway #teamblack

Ah! This book is brilliant! It’s so clever and so much fun to read. The style and pace and detail of this entirely fictional history is so impressive and I kept marvelling at just how good a write Martin is. Unlike the Song of Ice & Fire books, you don’t need to flick to complex genealogies and maps. The detailed names are fun but don’t really matter in the scheme of things. I loved every sentence of this book and wish the second volume was out.
I'm a bit surprised by how much I enjoyed this book, as a fictional history in 600 pages seems like a tall order, even for me. But in fact, it read quick quickly and is just full of intriguing and delightful anecdotes. I wonder how GRRM would do as an author of actual history, but, given his scant bibliography with these Targaryens, who can really say?
