It was enjoyable. The story around the story was the most interesting thing, I think. The story of Michelle’s obsession juxtaposed with the obsession of the GSK, and how her death brought the spotlight to his story was fascinating.  If you like true crime but can’t handle a bunch of gratuitous gore, this is a good read for you.

Incredible read that is both informative and powerful. The book delves into not only the dark deeds of the GSK, but also the authors foundational experience with true crime and her admitted obsession with seeing the GSK identified and hopefully brought to justice. The stories of the crimes are not just goeg details, but humanizing portraits of normal people who went through something terrible. I cannot recommend tho book enough.

I had a background of the case before reading the book so I knew what to expect. However, it was a slow read that gave a lot of graphic detail of the crimes. I just never felt like reading more.
