As with the other Elephant and Piggie books, this one is great to read with kids, each person taking on the lines of their own character. A fun way to keep children engaged in reading. This is also a wonderful book for older children to read to younger siblings. Fun, entertaining read.
Laugh-out-loud funny, even for adults reading without a child. Mo Willems is a genius!
Another winner! This one might encourage a picky eater to try new things (assuming that the food tastes better than slop)
December 2017 - Ben thought this was hilarious, especially when they turn colors.
Not a bad way to encourage kids to try food, although since Gerald ends up HATING the Piggie's food, it can also provide ammo for kids to advocate why they shouldn't try new things.
