I've never really read anything by this creator, so I knew this would be something interesting. I heard warning after warning about how messed up this series can be. It is, but at least I don't feel mentally messed up after reading this volume. I don't love it. I think sometimes people write something so vulgar or awful just to get a reaction, and this feels like that. I understand that it is also a part of the world building, but idk if it's entirely necessary....we will see in future volumes if I manage to think to pick up the next one.
Actually giving this a 2.5 I liked the Artwork and the story had potential but won’t be continuing at all.

I'm very interested in where the story goes, but also, what the hell? lol
I get that this is supposed to be a horrible world filled with shitty people but I feel like a couple of the dark moments are a bit too much and doesn't really add much to the story. I still think this world is interesting though and the main character's story is super cool, so I'm still going to read the rest of the series. I'm also just a fan of CSM and wanted to read Fujimoto's other works.
