Very disturbing and bizarre, sometimes confusing, but intriguing at the same time. This is definitely not a story for everybody, since it contains a lot of dark themes such as cannibalism, pedophilia and rape.
With this being said, I'll like to learn more about the world and have a more solid idea of where this story is going, before deciding if I want to continue this series or not.

this sucked ass . No structure  and all the dark shit had no purpose behind them . Thyhard wannabe deepfake edgelord

Wow. Rough. There is a lot of messed up shit going down in this series. If you can think it, it's in here. You've been warned.
That out of the way, I flew through this first volume. Damn! It's horrific in all of the ways, but it kept me fully engaged. I was expecting a lot after all the hyper, and this has lived up to it. That's rare. The pacing takes a little bit to parse out, but after you get into the flow of Fujimoto, it's great. I'm very excited to continue and so glad I grabbed the second book too.
If you see this, snatch it up because it's hard to find.

this is absolutely wild so i really don’t know how to rate it. there is a lot of things that could be considered either disturbing or “edgy” depending on what type of person u are. but i think from reading chainsaw man before this, i know the author has the ability to keep u on ur toes and evolve his story/characters in interesting and unexpected ways. i felt like i never saw what was coming with every new chapter and i like that aspect. it’s understandable people would be turned off by the excessive violence of this but i feel a certain trust in fujimoto’s story telling abilities, and that makes me wanna continue on

It stars with cannibalism and gets crazy from there. The set up is a bit rough and out there but I’m glad I stuck with the story because later volumes, and the story as a whole are funny and thought provoking, as well as the usual dark and violent. None of the characters grabbed me but the premise appealed if just to see where it went.
