I loved the concept of this story but found it hard to keep up with the flashback versus present timeline scenes. Still, I liked how the mystery was uncovered over time and the characters were able to resolve old issues.

What a waste of my time! Blurb was totally misleading. Just a couple of adults who dislike each other very much, trying to figure out if they're married or not--one is concussed, the other is drunk! Decided they want to be together in the last several pages in the most unromantic way.

It took me a long long time to get into this book. Part of it has to do with the fact that since I carry around a library in the form of ebooks on my phone the books I have on paper languish. I must have read the first 30 pages three times. But once I invested, I found a lovely nostalgic story of two college sweethearts who ended on bad terms and were thrust together ten years later at the wedding of college friends. Add in late 1990s fashion and technology as well as a mysterious temporary memory loss, and you have the makings of a unique love story.

This was honestly a really confusing read. The book is titled “the rewind” but it doesn’t need to be told that way. It sounds like it was told in mostly flashbacks AND switches between two perspectives. I didn’t enjoy that at all about the story, I felt like it was moving too slow because of it.
It was a falling for each other all over again. Which was cute but I don’t like the way it was written.
Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this.

I don’t know about this book. I think everyone in this book could benefit from therapy.
Ezra is clearly trying to fill some emptiness, and seems to be the type of person who can’t be single. Also, he is a goody-goody but gets blackout drunk and he’s scared of risks but gambles?
There’s no way in my mind for it to be acceptable for 30 year old to not be able to control themselves better.
