4.25 ⭐️ I really enjoyed this just like the first book. Very entertaining and interesting characters. I love love Signa and Death. Blythe was a little annoying in this one but other than that I’m excited for her and Fate !!

I felt this was not as engaging a book as the first. I found Fate to be a strong villain. Blythe drove me a bit nuts in this book. Probably 1/4 of the book could’ve been removed and it would have streamlined a couple of areas that really dragged. The constant broken promises between Signa and Death annoyed me as well, stop lying to your love Signa! I will certainly read the next book. 

If you enjoyed the first book this is a great addition to the series, I think the first is still my favourite. The turmoil between Death, Fate and Signa was well put together. I look forward to finding out more about Life.

I liked it better than the first book. Also am beginning to think this whole series is a murder mystery. But then this book was a bit hard to get into and I found it boring most of the time. The plot was okay, if you like murder mysteries then you will like or even love this book.

I loved this book so much!

I was on such a roller coaster. The amount of times I gasped and had to close the book to gather my thoughts! For majority of the book I was so caught in the love triangle and was rooting for both Fate and Death.

I loved when Signa returned to Foxglove and how her story shifted after that. And Blythe is a bad ass!!! I was shocked when she became Fates wife! And what Signa discovered!! I had a feeling that wasn’t really Life and only using her powers. But I did not put 2 and 2 together that it was BLYTHE!

AND I KNEW IT WAS BYRON THE WHOLE TIME!! Since the moment Elijah said he didn’t speak for him I knew!

10/10 recommend! Such a good book! Now off to read the next.
