I really thought I would like this, I mean R.S. Grey might not be the best author out there but I enjoyed her books a lot. This one had a promising plot and beginning — brother’s best friend romance and characters who are totally in love with each other but prance around each other, I’m a sucker for that!
Sadly, I’m disappointed. I had to DNF it because I was forcing myself to read it to the point where I’m dreading picking up my kindle just to finish this. I don’t like not finishing books, but I don’t want to waste my time in trying especially if the book isn’t interesting for me.
My biggest issue here is that it was all over the place. The flow wasn’t smooth and I was having a whiplash with all that was happening. Also, I couldn’t stand Natalie for some reason, I know she’s not the most whiny character ever written by R.S. Grey but I couldn’t stand her and I often found myself wanting Connor’s chapters more.
This book might be fit for other’s taste, it’s not for me.

This is probably one of the cutest and funniest books I've read, but I say that about every rs grey book so.
But I want to point out that this is by far one of the tropes I dislike the most and the fact that I didn't feel annoyed by the story it's a miracle honestly
Doctor Dearest is about Natalie and Connor they know each other since Connor and her brother are best friends she always had a crush on him, and he always had a crush on her, but things never progressed from the friend zone because she was "off-limits"
Natalie is really ambitious, and her principal goals are all related to her career as a doctor, she always put her job first, and she's so hardworking about being taken seriously and accomplish all that she wants since the first chapter I knew she was going to be one of my favorite characters from RS Grey
Connor is definitely so similar to her in the work ethics aspect, but the main difference about them is how Connor manages his feelings he really knows what he wants with Natalie and will do anything to make her see their potential as a couple.
Even if the attraction of both characters has been building up since they were younger, and that was one of my biggest fear reading this because I seriously thought that It was going to be too fast-paced and too instalove, but thank God I was wrong because they build up the relationship really slowly, and everything is so well developed.
As every RS Grey book I recommend this to everyone, it's hilarious, it's cute AF, the characters have great chemistry and it's not heavy or too dramatic.

Usually I am all for Rachel’s books. I literally read every book she puts out but this one fell kinda short for me. I’m not really for doctor books to begin with but this couple seemed to force the relationship. Some parts were just sooo
R.S. Grey has become a go-to author for me, and I always enjoy her books. This one is no exception. Doctor Dearest did seem to be a bit more heavy on the romantic side, and less so on the comedy that I’ve come to expect, but there are still a lot of laugh out loud moments. While this isn’t my favorite of Grey’s books, it’s still a great, fun read that I’d highly recommend!
This was so cute!
Doctor Dearest was a fun book to read. After meeting Natalie and Connor, I instantly fell in love with them. It was also super obvious that they both had feelings towards one another. So, when things started to heat up between them - well, I was all for it. Besides them, you meet Noah and Lindsey. Noah is her older brother and Lindsey is her best friend. Now those two also have chemistry and feelings towards one another but we don't really see anything until towards the end of this book.
If they have a book, or if they ever get one, I would so read it!
Back to Nat and Con, their romance gave me all the feels. They also had some funny moments, like when she met his parents, the grocery store scene, or heck even some hospital scenes. I guess you could say they had some drama in this book at all but nothing that tore them apart from one another.
Overall, it was a fun book to read and I'm so glad that I enjoyed it!

A cute fun read. R.S. Grey writes another great read. Her characters are well written and full of depth.
Connor is Natalie’s brother's best friend. Now that he is no longer her mentor, in the hospital where they both work, he can make his move. Their romance is slow but Connor doesn’t give up!
Throughout the story, Natalie throws up walls and pushes Connor away. But I am glad the author didn’t fall back on what other authors do and make them not communicate and hold things back from each other. Natalie tells Connor what she feels and Connor does the same. They work through their issues like adults. That is what I like about this book.
Another great story by R.S. Grey.

Reading a book where the main character's name is the same as yours is an experience I think everyone should go through. Couple that with brother's best friend, forced proximity, and my favorite trope that's controversial amongst readers and I won't name it - this is a new fav. I loved NATALIE (hehe) and Connor. Loved them. I haven't read a book that took place in the BICU, before, and I loved the little storylines integrated within the story. I was ENTHRALLED with this book, and R.S. Grey did it again with the Epilogue, *chef's kiss*.
AND PLEASE TELL ME WE HAVE A BOOK WITH NOAH AND LINDSEY BECAUSE *SCREEEEEEEEEEECH* DO YOU HEAR ME HOWLING FROM WHERE YOU'RE READING!!!!!!!!!!! AGHHHHHH! RS GREY NOT ONLY KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS EPILOGUES, BUT ALSO SIDE CHARACTERS AND THEIR ROMANCES. *wipes tear away*
Anyway, Im off to pick out my next R.S. Grey book because currently she's all I can read sooooooo can you guess what the next book will be? I have a guess;)

Another amazing story by Rs grey! I loved this one, it was hilarious. It’s such a feel good read with such great characters. Their love was so instant and happy, it made me happy. Also- the accuracy of that pregnancy and birth was too real. Loved it! Praying for Noah and Lindsey’s story next
I usually enjoy R. S. Grey's books and have found them funny and sweet, but now I'm disappointed. One of the two main characters, Connor, is an arrogant a-hole and totally rude. He treats Natalie (the other main character) like sh-t and it's not attractive or sexy at all!
He thinks he's God at work and I can't find one positive thing about him. All this destroyed the book for me. It's a shame :(
I hope for better characters in her next book.
