It had promise...it was predictable and cringe. So many plot holes and things that didn't add up. Also the author being in London and getting social/local inaccuracies was infuriating. I wanted to love it, and honestly I would have loved to read book 2; age gap is up my alley but I can handle the writing. It was a letdown.

It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because of the premise of the story, but I could not handle the writing any longer. I lost count of how many times I literally cringed. I also couldn't taken any longer the fact that the characters are continually going back and forth over whether or not they'll be staying together, whether or not they want one another, how much the FMC hates her body. Both in their heads and to each other. I just can't with it anymore.

And after finding out what happens regarding her brother... yeah, no. I can't stick around to see how the writing of that is going to annoy me.
