This gave me early Janet Evanovich vibes, in a good way - I was a major Stephanie Plum fan back in the day, before my patience over the neverending love triangle wore out (pick one, Stephanie! It's just cruel at this point). Anna attracts manly men folk like flies to honey and it's ridiculously fun, I enjoyed the moral ambiguity of the main (presumably) love interest and it was a treat to see Anna interact with her family, especially her sisters. An ominous threat hangs over Anna's head and I am going to struggle to not download book two sooner rather than later.

This was a fun, light read. The overall plot can be a little unbelievable at times given that Anna acts way outside the scope of her profession but whatevs. If you don't take it too seriously it's still enjoyable.

My main problem was the romance, if you can even call it that. I couldn't really figure out what the author was going for with the love interest. Basically, Anna is a fickle bitch. She sleeps with a guy and the next day is crushing on another. I felt like we were supposed to be routing for Aiden but the lack of interaction between them and Anna's constant attraction to literally every other male threw me off. Whishy washy female leads are the main reason I avoid YA romances. I mean, pick a guy, any guy, and let's move on. This really killed it for me. Not sure I will read the next book in this series since it sounds like more of the same.

This is an ARC review. All opinions are solely my own.

Disorderly Conduct by Rebecca Zanetti is book 1 of the Anna Albertini Files. This book was at times ridiculous but overall it was an entertaining read.

Anna is a rookie prosecutor who has been through some stuff!! As the professional world she has just become a part of comes crashing down her past comes knocking.

I will admit that while I was reading I was getting annoyed with all the hijinks Anna kept getting herself into because it did seem far fetched. At times I felt maybe there were too many plot twists going on but overall it was wrapped up nicely.

I am ready to read book two because I really want to know how Aiden's backstory gets wrapped up.

OUCH! “Disorderly Conduct” not only gives off so much heat it can burn, it has enticing drama and suspense as well as some hysterical situations too. It was just like I knew Anna Albertini, our accident-prone heroine, sleuth, and new lawyer with an interesting history. Aiden, from Anna’s past, leaves us full of intrigue and some very hot scenes as he and Anna burn up the pages and get into some challenging situations. This new, first person series from Rebecca Zanetti is what we have come to love and respect from her work and more. I did not want it to end…. It is an amazing mixture of heat, intrigue, action, suspense and great food! Cannot wait for the next book in this series “Bailed Out!” – I hate waiting……

In small town Idaho, from the border of washington state, everyone is either Italian or Irish. Every man ten years older or ten years younger then her, ends up wanting her before the book ends.
Very little about this plot was plausible, there was no actual day jobbing, a lot of thirsting, sprinkle in the idea that the MC is a disaster walking on heels that every man around her wants to kill or protect.

It was a bit too much for me and I didnt like it. Nothing stood out.
