Love Finds A Way.

Dex may have moved up as my fav Hardy brother. You know the trope with the MC willing to destroy the whole world for the heroine? Well that is definitely a good description of Dex Hardy.
This book was unhinged and passionate as all get out! I loved every moment of it! It was so good I may have to start back and re-read book one while I wait for the next one.

Dex and Keelani have been through a lot. I mean a lot. Sooo much trauma, angst, loss and betrayal. However their connection is undeniable. They are the epitome of fated mates. Even when life and circumstances keep tearing them apart, you just know they can never ever really truly be separated. There were some heavy moments dealing with loss, illness of a parent, S/A and addiction to name a few, so be advised if those are an issue for you. I felt the particular situations were well written with sensitivity and as someone who has experienced what it’s like to have my own parent go through the same illness talked of in this book, it was very poignant to me. It hit home a lot and I could relate to a lot of what the characters were experiencing in that regard.

I enjoyed this read so much. I loved the undying love between Dex and Kee, the other Hardy family members supporting and showing up when needed and seeing Kee truly grow in ways she never thought possible. I loved Dex finding the peace he so very much deserved and both he and Kee getting their HEA. There’s a lot of intrigue in this story and you’re going to be on the edge of your seat for some of it, but the payoffs are totally worth it. The passion is there, the spice is scandalous in a good way and the ending is everything. I can’t wait for the next book!

I enjoyed the first 2 books in this series, but I just couldn’t get into this one. As a couple, they had some serious communication issues. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because at the beginning, they were 18.
But all those years later, they just didn’t seem right to me. Dex was so confusing! And if a MC is going to be an angry grump, at least show me some tenderness somewhere. He was very cold. And as someone with billions of dollars and a security genius who has trouble with privacy boundaries, how did he not know about her families money issues or her contract manipulation.
I wanted Kee to have her moment and Dex to give her that. All of a sudden a fake marriage is real. They kind of based getting back together just on how much they loved each other when they were teenagers and I wanted a little more development in the present.

Can I be apart of the Hardy family? I love them all! I literally would binge read and had to put this book down so the story wouldn't end. I am thankful that this had relatable events that happened through the course of the book.
One one side, you have Dex having the need to control what he can in his life on an obsessed level. On the other side, Kee needing to be free, but is locked up contractually. Their story truly proves that love can survive all. No matter what their age is.

I don’t know why but this book kind of felt weird for me. Like it was never real fake married because they both loved each other and acted that way. Enjoyed reading it but compared to the others it just wasn’t as good
