I think I liked the characters a little more in the last one(aka Leo, which I now need to know how he is related to Sammy). I did find Hazel interesting. Anyways, now they need to finally all meet up. And find Nico. Don’t worry I totally have my priorities straight.

This one was a little harder to get into. I was glad to have Percy back and I was interested in Hazel, but Frank just took a while for me to warm up to. Since the third person narrative had about three chapters per character before switching I found there were times I was bored and wanted to see what someone else was doing (often Percy). It was definitely weird reading about Percy and not directly reading his thoughts, but I still enjoyed it. The difference between the two camps and how Percy wasn’t organized and as disciplined in fighting was really interesting to see because it truly highlighted the importance of trying things differently and that usual may not always work, which ties in well to Hera trying to bring balance and peace to the camps so they can work together.

Also Percy being accepted by the camp so quickly made me laugh, like yes that’s my main character! TYSON APPEARANCE I WAS STOKED
