I really liked this book; I finished it so quickly and didn’t ever want to put it down! The main character was so relatable and realistic. A little bit heart wrenching and made me want to scream sometimes because I hated the teacher so much. Great ending though!

Než jsem začala číst Pravidla pro holky procházela jsem si počáteční čtecí krizí, ale z toho mě vyléčila právě tahle kniha a naprosto mě dostala. Líbilo se mi, že vlastně i když pravda vyplula na povrch, tak hlavní hrdinka úplně nedostala takový typický young adult konec, který je typický, ale dostalo se spravedlnosti a viník byl potrestán.

So I bought this book at the Dollar Tree on a whim, Ive had good luck with books from there in the past... I'm definitely glad I gave this one a chance! I cried, I laughed and I cringed...Marin-girl, oh what a girl. If you're looking for something a little sad but uplifting in the end, this is the book for you. Would definitely read again.

Firstly, I feel like this book was directed at a younger audience. The writing was a bit rushed and rather simple. The story has a very good message, but there were also parts that felt a bit forced. Another part I hated was that there are so many scenes where the main character doesn’t stick up for herself, and just complied with what everyone else tells her. It just keeps happening. But I really like the message it sent about Marin and Bex. I think a lot of people need to hear it, and that no matter what Marin did, it was still his fault, not hers.
