This book was downright beautiful, told in a lush, lyrical and bittersweet prose, there is no way I could not love Laini Taylor's mesmerizing stories! While reading this, I felt like a child lured out of my innocent stupor and had a witch sing me a darkly sensual and whimsical lullaby.
It is a tale of three heroines and their tragedy before experiencing the first touch of warm and moist lips of love pressed onto theirs.
Inspired by "fairytales, dead languages, weird folk beliefs, fascinating religions and more,"
this is a book that is sure to transport you into three different worlds and make you feel like you've been dreaming all along.

The stories were great, each one had it's own style and the artwork just added to the story.
I think my favourite is the first one, the goblin story.

Well what can I say about this book? Honestly not much, I was very disappointed with the whole thing. I mean the first story Kizzy or as I prefer Ditzy was almost painful to read I didn't like her or her friends, I couldn't stand them and I found myself wanting to smack her. I guess that's my main rant on this Goblin Fruit I could have went the rest of my life without having the the misfortune of being introduced to that stupid girl. I'm sorry I know this story has some great reviews and that's great each to their own I always say but it just didn't do it for me. The art was wonderful but that was it. Read it don't read it I wouldn't recommended it though, but others have loved it so I guess you should just try it out and see for yourself I hope your reading experience in more pleasant than mine was.
I think I'm more in love with the idea of Mihai and the civilization woven around him and his Mahzarin than I am with the physicality of the story. And even that I can't ignore.
WHY AM I EVEN TRYING TO ARTICULATE. THIS WAS SUCH A GEMSTONE OF A TINY BOOK OF TINY AMAZING TALES ABOUT TINY ENORMOUS PEOPLE AND INSANE ENORMOUS CONCEPTS.
This was supposed to be light-reading, Laini Taylor -.-
Why do I even try?

The imagery these books evoke is incredible. Worth a read for the lovely, atmospheric descriptions alone, for things like girls whose fathers eat popcorn with bloodied fingers, who drink tea with the devil, and who run away with their belongings stuffed into violin cases. I wasn't too crazy about the plotting, but the writing was absolutely beautiful.
Haunting and sad and wistful. I could read an entire book of that last story. Definitely pick up and try if you are a fan of Taylor's work.
After months of not picking this story collection, I've decided to call it a day and DNF. However, since it's a story collection, I'm giving myself the right to rate and review.
I loved the first two stories in this collection; they were magical and extremely interesting. Laini Taylor has such an extraordinary way with words, and I loved reading them. But then the last one came up, and I just couldn't. I've been trying to read and finish it for weeks! But the story is boring, slow paced, and I just reaaaaaally don't care about it.
All in all, this is a cute book, fun read until the last story. The things I've read were amazing and I really enjoyed them. Can't say if I'd recommend it to anyone, maybe only to Laini Taylor lovers.

Lips Touch: Three Times is a book of 3 short stories with a fairy tale feel:
1.Goblin Fruit - retelling of Christina Rosetti's "Goblin Market"
2.Spicy Little Curses such as these - My favorite of the 3, about a curse delivered from hell on a child as a bargain to save many other children. Will she break free from the curse?
3.Hatchling - About a mother and daughter with a mysterious past. The daughter wakes up one day to find one of her eyes has turned blue to her mother's horror. We learn about the mother's difficult past with flashbacks.
Each of the stories has several pages of beautiful illustrations like a graphic novel that can be read as a prologue to each story.
At the center of each story is a kiss and the consequences that go along with it. These are dark, rich, beautifully written stories. I enjoyed the multi-cultural aspects and the fantasy elements.
I think this would appeal to fans of young adult and fantasy genres.
